The Committee of Management of the Bay City Buccaneers are calling for expressions of interest for the following coaching positions:

  • Head Coach
  • Offense and Defense Coordinators
  • Positional Coaches

Applicants must be suitably qualified with Gridiron Victoria or be willing to gain such qualification.

Applicants must be able work within a team environment.

All expressions of interest will include the following:

  • Resume
  • Covering letter setting out goals and coaching philosophy

2012 Preseason Training

The Buccaneers will be back for the first senior preseason training session in 2012 on Wednesday the 11th of January at 6:00pm at Corio Community Reserve in Hendy Street Corio.

No experience required!

We welcome anyone interested in American Football, be it playing, coaching or supporting to join the Buccaneers in 2012 as we defend our Vic Bowl crown.

2011 Senior Presentation Night

The Buccaneers will be holding our senior presentation night on Friday the 28th of October at 6:30pm,  Hendy Street Hall in Hendy Street Corio.

There is a roast dinner and tickets will be $25.00 per head for adults and $20.00 for Children.

All past and future Buccaneers are welcome.

Come along and help celebrate a great year for the club in which we won our first ever Vic Bowl Championship.

2011 Junior training starts soon!

The first official training session for the Bay City Buccaneers Under 18 team will be on Thursday the 18th of August at 6:00pm.

This will be an information night and light training session so bring your football boots.

All starting positions are vacant - American Football is a diverse sport and we are looking for kids of all shapes and sizes to be a part of the Buccaneers this year.

We will have more information about the 2011 Junior season in the coming weeks.

We expect the season to start in late September and run approximately 8 weeks with a 2 week finals series.

There will be at least 5 teams in the Gridiron Victoria junior season, awaiting confirmation from the league.
